Food Movies: The World According to Monsanto

This documentary released in 2008, just in the nick of time for Americans to wake up to their declining health, and take serious action against the corporate factors that control their lives. California vote YES on Prop 37 to label genetically engineered foods. Thanks to these intimate links between Monsanto and government agencies, the US adopted GE foods and crops without proper testing, without consumer labeling and in spite of serious questions hanging over their safety. Not coincidentally, Monsanto supplies 90 percent of the GE seeds used by the US market. Monsanto's long arm stretched so far that, in the early nineties, the US Food and Drugs Agency even ignored warnings of their own scientists, who were cautioning that GE crops could cause negative health effects. Other tactics the company uses to stifle concerns about their products include misleading advertising, bribery and concealing scientific evidence. World According to Monsanto (full length movie)

Food Movies: Genetic Roulette

NEW FOOD DOCUMENTARY: Based on the 2007 book Genetic Roulette, by Jeffrey Smith. Movie trailer - Experts expose the serious threats and how corporations like Monsanto hide the evidence. Never-before-seen evidence points to genetically engineered foods as a major contributor to rising disease rates in the US population, especially among children. Gastrointestinal disorders, allergies, inflammatory diseases, and infertility are just some of the problems implicated in humans, pets, livestock, and lab animals that eat genetically modified soybeans and corn. Monsanto's strong arm tactics, the FDA's fraudulent policies, and how the USDA ignores a growing health emergency are also laid bare. This sometimes shocking film may change your diet, protect you and your family, and accelerate the consumer tipping point against genetically modified organisms (GMOs) already underway.
