The past few evenings have been great stargazing in California. Cooling off after midnight, the milky way glows above. Anytime is a good time to watch the sky. In the mountains I lay watching the shooting stars zoom by. The start of the Perseid Meteor Shower, peak: WED & THURS, August 12-13, 2009
